Geocaching Challenges, a new twist!

INTRODUCING....GEOCACHING CHALLENGES!  SAME FUN WITH AN AWESOME TWIST!

I recently found that there has been an exciting addition to the geocaching family! I looked it over and studied it, and LOVE IT!  It is called Geocaching Challenges!  An exciting new way to take pictures and sharing your adventures!

Challenges is all about taking pictures and postiong the pictures and gps co-ordinates of the challenges chosen!  Being a true artist can come to play a roll in this exciting new addition to the geocaching family.

My suggestion would be that you give it a try, and see what you can do with it!  From my own experience, this is going to be so cool!

Sometimes it isn't always easy to get out of the car and sneak to an area for the quick grab (though we love it so!!).  With the challenges app came into play it opened the door for an all new experience.  My wife loves to take pictures, and with this..well let's just say, welcome to the geocaching family honey!

Take your opportunity and look into the worlkd wide challenges, and make memories!!

It's what you make of it!

Geocaching is a really simple hobby to get into, and one more complex as you get involved.  There is no end to the fun that you can run into or that you can create for others along the way!

I go to some smaller towns that only have a single cache or maybe two and I am always thinking on how I can create an adventure for others in that area, or for the ones that are driving the back roads with their kids.

I know from personal experience that my children love to find the tradeable geocache!  I am going to be developing over the next few weeks a kid friendly series of geocache, designed with kids totally in mind.  On trips when kids a cooped up in the car and looking for the door, I want to make the pit stop the thing to do!
My Own children love to get out of the car especially if there is an ammo can with trades in it.

I have found a lot of people more recently that are getting their kids involved in geocaching, and find that to be great news!!  GET THOSE KIDS OFF OF THE COUCH!!!!   Video game have been key in desensitising our children for many years now!  When I was a kid, we had to play outside and play with friends.   there was no Nintendo, Play stations or XBOX 360 for us, we had imaginations.  I love the thought that a parent takes their kids out to go geocaching!  It promotes family time, and makes memories that can not be bought!

One of my favorite jobs in the world is being a dad, and trying to find new things to do with my kids, for example along side of Geocaching, try out the "Road side America!"  (roadsideamerica.com).  They get you off of the interstates and put you on the memorable trips with your family.  Life is all about how fast you can do things now, and it should be that it is more about what we remember and teach.  I learned a lot from my family, and now I share what I took in back then.

Take the time to take your family and take pictures!  What an experience you can share!  Next time that you go geocaching, thinks about the kids!  Try to build some creative geocache for the kids entertainment!  Kids are our future and we should make every effort to return to the basics with them, by getting them outside and showing them the world is bigger than the little section that we live in.

Geocache often my friends, take a friend and introduce them to geocaching, you will make memories that can't be erased!  GOD bless until next time!

Geocaching an experience like no other!: Being the creative Geocache designer

Being the creative Geocache designer

Boredom takes over on any given day, and it seems that our minds begin to explore the worlds of imagination.  When I became a geocacher it began to explore the possibilities of being a creative geocache designer.

I have studies a lot of pictures and videos on the Internet.  YouTube and EBay being the very interesting melting pot for ideas.  How cool could it be to design the ultimate geocache!!  The geocache in the top left corner is made of PVC pipe, and is a combination lock that you have to acquire the code on a multi cache to open....Dang it is cool!

I want to team up with someone that has the time to think about interesting projects, and could co-design many things with me.  I have tons of ideas, but I don't have tons of time to do the work thanks to my job...but hey, I got to eat after all!

There is nothing more fun that when you find the hard to open or the hard to find geiocache.  I have several people in mind that would be good in the design process, and probably the creative planning.  My dad would be excellent in the process, man can he create things that are cool!  I believe that a good friend of mine named Jerry Carter would be a creative genius as well, he always thinks outside of the box too.

I would be interested to see what either one of them could come up with, I be it could keep you scratching your heads for a while!  Just remember to think outside of the box and try to make some thinks that will make people come to see what you are going to do next!

Any day that you can go geocaching is a GREAT day, but any day that you can't, is an opportunity to be creative and to design something of awe and wonder!  Geocache often, take friends, take lots of pictures and make memories...God Bless.
